Rules for using the Rotavela website, planner and household features.

Rotavela operator

1. Who may use the service

Rotavela provides shift calendars and household planning for adult account holders. You must be at least 18 to create a paid or household account. The account holder is responsible for maintaining accurate contact details and protecting sign-in credentials. Do not create accounts on behalf of children or upload more information about them than needed for planning.

2. Acceptable use

Use Rotavela lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to bypass account limits or paywalls, access another person’s records without permission, misuse invitation links, interfere with service availability, introduce malicious content, automate abusive traffic or reverse-engineer security controls. You must have authority to share another adult’s rota or household information.

3. Your information and licences

You retain your rights in information you enter. You give us a limited right to host, process and display that information only as needed to provide the features you use, maintain the service and comply with law. Do not upload information you are not permitted to share. Where available, export your own planner data before leaving. Some data stored only on your device may not be recoverable after deletion or device loss.

4. Shared household permissions

Household features are invitation-based. Adults decide what they share; when a household member is removed or leaves, they may lose future online access to shared information. Copies they previously downloaded cannot necessarily be recalled. Keep childcare schedules and details about others to the minimum needed.

5. Planning information is not a guarantee

Rotavela does not verify employers’ rotas, payslips, overtime rules, annual leave approval, medical eligibility or actual childcare availability. Pay totals and leave balances are planning estimates. Users must check important information with employers, payroll teams and caregivers. Never rely on a Rotavela reminder or childcare gap calculation as an emergency alert or as confirmation that someone will provide care.

6. Mobile and third-party services

Some features depend on device permissions, calendars, network access, authentication providers or Stripe. If you do not grant a permission, the corresponding function may be unavailable. App Store or Play Store purchases, if offered later, will have separate platform and billing arrangements, not this website’s Stripe checkout.

7. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We will communicate material changes where required and preserve your consumer rights. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no software or network service is error-free or available every moment. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Accounts, suspension and deletion

We may restrict access for misuse, security or legal reasons, subject to applicable law. Contact support@rotavela.co.uk to request account deletion, data access or an export. Deleting an account is separate from cancelling a paid subscription: please cancel or request cancellation of recurring billing as well. Some financial records and backups may remain where necessary and lawful.

9. Operator and contact

Rotavela is the trading name of Silviu Ivanovici, an independent UK sole trader based in Poole, Dorset, BH15, United Kingdom. Rotavela is not incorporated as a limited company and is not VAT registered. For support or complaints, contact support@rotavela.co.uk. These terms are subject to consumers’ mandatory statutory rights, which they do not limit.
